Classically British & Co.
Classically British & Co. is an annual event to showcase the diversity in dance with professionally trained artists from around the world. Mark Elie carefully chooses each performer who in turn bring their own unique style of original dance. Our 2021 performance showcased, as normal, a dynamic range of contemporary & classical dance pieces.

Performing Arts School
Our Performance Arts School is now up and running -
Fridays. 4.00pm to 5.00pm, Beginners, and 5.00pm to 6.00pm, for Advanced.
Saturdays 9.00am to 8.00pm with TinyTots/Ballet/Tap/Jazz/K-Pop/Street
These classes combine a range of singing, dancing and acting with professional West End performers and our very talented Teachers.

Congratulations to our Artistic Director and CEO Mark Elie on winning his Lifetime Achievement Award, in association with One Dance UK. Mark Elie won this amazing award for his contribution over the years to the local community, and the creation of Classically British. As well as tnat wonderful event, he is also responsible for Portobello Dance School, which is coming up to 30 years of teaching all types of dance. Mark is one of the UK’s most successful classically trained professional dancers having enjoyed a stellar career with some of the world’s leading companies; Rambert Ballet, Lisbon’s Ballet Gulbenkian, and the legendary Dance Theatre of Harlem. You’ll also find that Mr. Mark has now turned his talents to writing and is a published author too! There are many more plans coming up on the horizon! Well done from us all Mark Elie.
